POLSIGLE: National System of Information on Grey Literature


The service comprises: Descriptions of hard-access and unconventional documents such as papers and reports on scientific research, conference materials, technical as well as promotion and advertising documentation, unpublished translations, technical standards and recommendations, certain official documents, etc.

Data stored: Data have been accumulated since 2001. The database relies for information on libraries and information centres co-operating with the system.

Detailed description:
The database set up under the National System of Information on Grey Literature POLSIGLE relies for information on the institutions that have declared interest in collaboration.

Description of a document contains:

• type of a document (monograph publication, research report, conference materials, standards, etc.),
• information on authors (first names, surnames),
• information on the institution where the work has been performed,
• information on the institution financing the work,
• title of the document,
• subtitle of the document,
• title, place and date of the conference,
• name of the publishers,
• number of the report, ISBN, ISSN,
• language of the publication,
• keywords,
• short characteristic (abstract or a brief summary).

Search by:
Title, author, publisher, year of publication, keyword, bibliographical index.
