The Information Processing Centre (OPI) cooperates also with European Commission and European Innovation Relay Centres Network IRC, operating within the Innovation/SME programme of the European Commission. The Information Processing Centre acts as one of three national regional centres of the network - IRC Poland.

NATO - the National Administration of the NATO Science Fellowships Programme in Poland operates in the Information Processing Centre. The National Administration organizes contests for postdoctoral fellowships for Poles aiming at conducting research in one of NATO countries or in a Partner country. There are also offered fellowships for candidates from Partner countries to do research in Poland.

MCINT - the Information Processing Centre is a member of the International Centre of Scientific and Technical Information in Moscow (ICSTI), intergovernmental organization joining members from 18 countries of Central and Eastern Europe and Asia as well as over 30 companies from Western Europe and USA. Within the framework of this organization the Information Processing Centre participates in the project Information Resources of ICSTI Member States and in the international information network.

EAGLE (European Association for Grey Literature Exploitation) - the Information Processing Centre is a member of this nongovernmental UE organization since 2001 and collaborates with the System for Information on Grey Literature in Europe SIGLE (managed by EAGLE) by supplying the database of the system with information concerning grey literature resources in Poland.
